Mid-Level Civil Engineer/Environmental Engineer

Role Description: This is a full-time role for a Civil Engineer or Environmental Engineer. NOREAS, Inc. has immediate openings for a mid-level position ranging from 4 to 10 years of experience in the environmental investigation and remediation industry. Key Responsibilities: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university. MS degree is a plus. California Professional Engineer preferred, or is actively pursuing licensure. 4 to 10 years of experience in the environmental investigation and remediation industry. Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat (or similar). Experience with GIS and/or CAD is a plus. Works under the direction of a project manager or serves as a task/project manager for groundwater monitoring, remediation system design/implementation/operation and maintenance, and other environmental/construction projects. Capable of supervision of complex field projects. Travel and field work, approximately 25-50%, which may be throughout the U.S.Ability and willingness to work outdoors and to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Commitment to supporting a safe work environment. Strong writing and analytical skills for preparation of work plans and reports (investigation, remediation design, feasibility studies, etc.).Proposal and cost estimate support. Experience working on Federal/Department of Defense contracts (specifically NAVFACSW, NAVFACNW and USACOE) is preferred.
