Qualifications:
(Required) Valid Massachusetts Teacher Certification in the respective content area of Special Education.
Successful teaching experience.
Experience modifying and differentiating curriculum students within sub-separate and inclusion classes.
Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.
Qualifications:
(Preferred) Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
SEI Endorsement.
License in Moderate Special Education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEPs.
Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator.
Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program.
Duration103 hours total to include the following:
Professional In-service Day (7/1/2025 - 3 hours).
20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 7 - August 7 (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.).
Salary$37 an hour, $3,811 total (20 days/5 hrs + 1 inservice at 3 hours)
