Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities: Perform vehicle maintenance and engine repair on heavy trucks Service and repair hydraulic systems and components Conduct diagnostic testing and fault finding using specialized tools Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend vehicle lifespan Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations Replace worn or damaged parts efficiently and accurately Apply welding and fabrication skills to repair and modify equipment Calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications Maintain detailed records of repairs, services, and inspections

Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years experience in heavy vehicle maintenance High school diploma or equivalent Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus Proficient in diesel engine repair and hydraulic systems Experienced with preventive maintenance and diagnostic tools Strong understanding of safety compliance and troubleshooting Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills Effective communication abilities
