Ohsu-Psu is hiring: Genetic Counselor in Portland

Function/Duties of Position: This position will be actively involved in clinical genetic counseling services for in-person patient care and telehealth outpatient clinics alongside MD/NPs as well as through independent GC-led telehealth visits. The counselor will participate in overall coordination of patient care including intake, assessment, counseling, test coordination, and follow-up. Our genetic counselors are involved in several pediatric multidisciplinary clinics, working in partnership with care teams and medical geneticists. In addition to direct patient care, our genetic counselors serve a primary role in education to medical trainees, genetic counseling students and other health care providers. Participation in research and publication is also encouraged for interested faculty.
