CNC Machine Operator CNC Machine Operator Location: Mentor, OH 44060 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Mentor, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes and mills
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
  • Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Document production data and machine performance as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing facility in Mentor, OH. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working with machinery in a fast-paced environment.
