Licensed Insurance Agent

Role Description: This full-time, on-site Licensed Insurance Agent role is based in Decatur, IL. The agent will engage with current and prospective customers to understand their needs, present appropriate insurance solutions, and provide ongoing account support. Daily activities include conducting needs-based conversations, quoting and binding policies, processing policy changes, and managing renewals across products such as auto, home, life, and other personal lines. The role involves maintaining accurate records, following compliance and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with the team to meet individual and agency goals. The agent will also participate in local marketing efforts, outreach campaigns, and follow-up calls to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively recommend and secure appropriate coverage for customers. Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and familiarity with diverse Insurance products to tailor solutions to individual client needs. Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to explain policy costs, coverage options, and long-term financial implications clearly. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and create a positive, respectful experience for all clients. Active state insurance license (or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse customer groups. Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple customer interactions, follow-ups, and documentation accurately. Comfort using computers, CRM systems, and digital tools to quote policies and maintain records. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is beneficial but not strictly required.
