We are seeking a Test & Evaluation (T&E) Operations Analyst to support the planning, execution, and documentation of tactical Electronic Warfare (EW) system testing for the AN/SLQ 32(V)6 and (V)7 variants across multiple Navy ship platforms and land based test facilities. This role involves hands on participation in at sea and pierside test events, coordination with engineering teams and government stakeholders, and detailed analysis and reporting of system performance during operational scenarios.  Travel: Up to 25% Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements: Hands‑on experience testing and evaluating tactical EW systems, preferably within the AN/SLQ‑32 family. Prior Navy experience (active duty, civilian, or contractor) involving shipboard operations, EW systems, or Combat Systems. Strong understanding of engineering principles and practical T&E methodologies. Experience with at‑sea testing, data collection, and operational scenario execution. Ability to work in dynamic shipboard environments for extended periods (2–4 weeks at a time). Strong written communication skills, especially in documenting test outcomes, issues, and technical observations. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with Navy stakeholders, engineers, and test teams.
Responsibilities: Support onboard T&E of AN/SLQ‑32(V)6/7 tactical EW systems during shipboard test events. Participate in T&E working groups, technical interchanges, and planning meetings to develop and refine test strategies and execution plans. Assist in developing and validating system and software requirements based on observed performance and test outcomes. Review Trouble Reports (TRs), identify issues, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure resolution paths are understood and documented. Support pierside testing and integration activities at locations such as Dahlgren, VA, Wallops Island, VA and Moorestown, NJ. For all test events, document findings, observations, and system behaviors; develop clear and timely SITREPs for distribution to program stakeholders. Contribute to the development of training material and system familiarization content based on test results and operational feedback. Coordinate with ship crews, test teams, and EW system engineers to ensure test readiness, data collection, and scenario execution.
Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience supporting IWS, NSWC, or other Navy program offices. Familiarity with T&E documentation, processes, and readiness reviews. Previous involvement with requirements development or software performance evaluation. Exposure to EW operator training, fleet support, or operational test events.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Experience in Field Compensation: Compensation at Sim Ventions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $84,000 - $110,000 (USD).
