About the Role: The Company is seeking a Vice President of Markets and Regulatory to play a pivotal role in the design and development of the future grid. This senior leadership position is responsible for owning the strategy, growth, delivery quality, and P&L performance of market analysis, financial modeling, independent engineering, and NERC program management service lines. The successful candidate will be a technical authority, providing independent engineering opinions relied upon by various stakeholders. Key responsibilities include defining and executing the practice strategy, integrating with adjacent capabilities, and ensuring delivery excellence on complex projects. The role also involves team leadership, talent development, and commercial leadership, including owning the practice P&L and cultivating executive-level client relationships. Applicants for the Vice President of Markets and Regulatory role at the company should be a rare blend of technical authority and commercial builder, with a background in finance or engineering and a proven track record in leading market analytics firms. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years' experience in power generation, mission-critical facilities, or large industrial energy systems. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of markets across Canada and the US, experience in leading independent engineering engagements, and an established network among infrastructure investors. The role demands outstanding communication skills, the ability to operate independently in a senior market-facing role, and active participation in industry organizations.
