JOB SUMMARY: Rock Entertainment Group is seeking a highly skilled and creatively driven Jr Producer, Digital Videography to lead the development, execution, and evolution of video content across Cleveland Cavaliers and Cavs Care social platforms. This role will drive the overall video strategy for each basketball season, exploring emerging trends, identifyinginnovative editing techniques, and shaping best-in-class storytelling that strengthens the Cavaliers’ brand and deepens fan engagement. The Jr Producer, Digital Videography will guide all phases of production—from concepting to filming to post-production—and ensuring high-quality visual storytelling that reflects theexcitement of each season. This role requires a forward-thinking creator who is constantlyresearching new technologies, platforms, and creative trends. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to major organizational moments including City Edition launches, special uniforms, All-Star, Playoffs, and other tentpole campaigns. To be successful, this leader must proactively build strong relationships across Basketball Operations, Creative, Marketing, Community Impact, Corporate Partnerships, and additionalinternal groups to bring collaborative video concepts to life.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead all video production for Cavs social channels, delivering high-quality, on-brand content from concept to completion. Capture and edit player and organization moments including but not limited to practice, games, appearances, and community events. Develop and conceptualize the overarching video strategy for each basketball season, utilizing Blink Fire to identify emerging editing trends, storytelling styles, and platform-specific opportunities. Ideate and execute large-scale video concepts for major organizational moments including jersey campaigns, All-Star, Playoffs, and other marquee events. Actively track and research current social media trends to ensure content is optimized for engagement and relevance across all platforms. Collaborate across departments to uncover storytelling opportunities and execute cohesive, strategic video content. Work closely with the Partnerships team to execute high-quality videos for partner social content. Maintain consistency with Cavaliers brand identity, creative standards, and tone acrossall visual output. Demonstrate professional etiquette surrounding elite athletes, front office staff, and high-profile characters. Travel as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in film production, digital media, communications, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of videography or digital video production experience within sports, entertainment, or similarly fast-paced creative environments. Proven experience leading video strategy, production teams, and creative workflows. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and other relevant editing tools. Demonstrated experience in professional camera operation, lighting, and audio capture with strong knowledge in Sony equipment. Deep knowledge of social media platforms, their video specifications, and best practicesfor engagement-driven content. Strong visual storytelling skills and a passion for innovation in editing, style, and creativetechniques. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments without compromising quality. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously in a quick turn-around setting. Passion for basketball and an understanding of NBA culture is preferred. Photography skills are preferred. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and game nights as needed.
