A late-stage, venture-backed enterprise AI company needs a senior backend engineer for the services behind its AI agents. These agents talk to people in real time, so latency and reliability are the product.
What you'll do:
- Design and scale the backend for agent products
- Work with ML and frontend engineers to bring agents into production
- Cut latency and raise reliability on high-volume services
- Handle large data volumes efficiently and safely
- Share on-call for the services you own
- What you bring 5+ years of backend engineeringgRPC and REST API designSQL and NoSQL schema and query tuning
- Kubernetes, Docker and microservices on AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience building AI or virtual agent systemsBS in Computer Science
