Commercial and Institutional Building ConstructionIndustrial Building ConstructionOther Heavy and Civil Engineering ConstructionDirector Of Construction Reporting to the executive leadership team, the Director of Construction will be responsible for overseeing all construction operations, driving financial performance, and supporting the continued expansion of a successful design-build business. The Director of Construction will play a critical leadership role across project delivery, safety, pre-construction, client management, and team development. Lead the construction division with full profit and loss accountability for an annual revenue stream of approximately $50 million. Provide leadership and oversight for multiple concurrent projects across industrial, manufacturing, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, and advanced technology markets. Manage and develop a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Superintendents. Drive project execution excellence, ensuring delivery against budget, schedule, quality, and safety objectives. Partner closely with engineering, pre-construction, and executive teams to support business growth and client satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with key clients while identifying opportunities for repeat business and operational improvement. Champion a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and high-performance project delivery. For the Director of Construction we are seeking: Proven experience leading construction operations with full profit and loss responsibility. Strong background delivering industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, aerospace, or technically complex construction projects. Experience within a design-build environment. Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects and geographically diverse teams. Leadership experience overseeing Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Superintendents. Strong understanding of pre-construction, safety, scheduling, risk management, and commercial project controls. Exceptional decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate effectively within an entrepreneurial environment where leaders have significant autonomy and influence. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
