Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Of Counsel specializing in M&A to join their Business and Commercial subgroup in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in post-closing indemnity disputes and representations and warranty insurance disputes.
Duties:
Communicate effectively with clients Supervise and mentor associates Collaborate with experts on disputes Assist with fact development and depositions Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda Develop comprehensive case strategies
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years' experience in M&A post-closing indemnity disputes Experience with M&A transaction documentation and damages calculations Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
Certifications:
Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of Miami, FL Skills Superior research, analytical, and writing skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong project management skills and attention to detail Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
