Traveling Energy Marshal

Pay: $55/hour + $125/day per diem

Schedule: 60+ hours per week

Duration: 6+ months | Temp to hire

Responsibilities: Lead the planning and coordination of energization, de-energization, and re-energization activities. Develop and review Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and action plans, including prerequisites, testing, hold points, and documentation. Review electrical drawings and equipment information to identify power sources, isolation points, redundant feeds, and potential backfeeds. Verify system readiness before energization and coordinate with the client, general contractor, commissioning team, safety personnel, and electrical leadership. Maintain accurate permits, equipment status records, and closeout documentation. Stop or postpone energization when conditions are unsafe or readiness requirements are incomplete.

Qualifications: Strong large scale commercial electrical construction background; data center or mission critical experience strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge of electrical distribution, safe switching, hazardous energy control, and LOTO.Experience with switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, transfer switches, switchboards, and panels. Ability to interpret electrical drawings and write clear MOPs and action plans. Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, arc-flash hazards, and electrical PPE.Ability to travel to Lithia Springs, GA, and work 60+ hours per week.
