Commercial Paint Estimator

What You'll Be Doing: Produce accurate commercial painting estimates from bid through award. Complete detailed quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid. Review construction drawings, specifications, bulletins and ASIs, updating estimates as projects evolve. Price labour, materials and equipment while developing realistic project budgets and labour forecasts. Work closely with general contractors to clarify scope and review project documents in Bluebeam. Lead scope review and estimating meetings to prioritise upcoming bids. Prepare Schedule of Values (SOVs), working budgets and project handover information for the operations team. Assist with contract reviews, submittals, change orders through Clearstory, closeout documentation and warranty packages. Support project scheduling using Microsoft Project where required. What They're Looking For 5+ years of commercial estimating experience. Strong commercial painting estimating background. Drywall estimating experience is preferred. Concrete estimating experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Advanced proficiency with OST (On-Screen Takeoff) and Quick Bid. Experience using Bluebeam. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings and specifications. Based in or within commuting distance of Monroe or the Charlotte Metro area.
