Security and protection of the environment comes FIRST Day to day activities: ACL changes, port vlan changes, port enablement Troubleshooting routing issues, unresponsive devices, end user issues, ACLs Extreme attention to detail in planning, change management, documentation, adherence to process and communication. The bar is very high here as we need to document and show evidence of everything. No cowboy-ing fixes or changes on the fly Work with customers to design and implement changes according to business needs Device maintenance - Regular updates, Performance monitoring, Availability/health monitoring Recommendations for upgrades, potential bottlenecks, growth forecasting WAN management/connectivity Implementing encryption protocols; jealously guarding all communication between all nodes Assist FTEs with network design Technical/Functional Skills Network Switching(LAN Technology) Network Routing(WAN Technology) Digital: Network Security Palo Alto Windows Powershell, Communication
