Construction Superintendent - Restaurants and Retail - Travel Required

Position Overview: You will be the primary on-site leader responsible for managing all phases of ground-up commercial builds, with an emphasis on restaurant construction. You will oversee subcontractors, enforce rigorous scheduling, and ensure absolute compliance with health, safety, and building codes from excavation to final handshake.

Restaurant Construction Experience: Minimum of 3+ years supervision of ground-up commercial restaurant construction (handling kitchen MEPs, grease traps, walk-ins, health department inspections, and vendor coordination).Safety Certification: Active OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred. Project History: Proven track record leading ground-up commercial projects from site work through interior fit-out.

Preferred Qualifications: Blueprint Competency: Strong ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference architectural, structural, MEP, and site plans. Physical Capability: Physically able to safely walk active jobsites, climb ladders/scaffolding, bend, kneel, and lift or move up to 50 lbs as required during daily field inspections. Forklift Operator Certification Time Management: Proven ability to thrive and maintain focus under tight time constraints, strict project deadlines, and fast-track schedules common to hospitality builds.

Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus to effectively coordinate with our diverse subcontractor base.

Tech Skills: Proficiency with modern digital daily logs, scheduling tools, and blueprint viewing software.

Core Responsibilities: Direct all daily on-site activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and labor. Manage project schedules, look-ahead plans, and material deliveries to prevent delays. Coordinate complex restaurant utility connections (gas, power, commercial plumbing).Lead weekly safety meetings and strictly enforce OSHA compliance on-site.
