Diesel Fleet Mechanic | $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Pay: Up to $34.25/hour Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Available Shifts 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Tuesday - Saturday)3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Sunday - Thursday)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on company-owned fleet equipment, including tractors and trailers. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term career stability. No CDL required.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine, preventive, and scheduled maintenance on fleet equipment Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues Complete minor and major repairs on tractors, trailers, diesel, and gas-powered vehicles Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records as required

Qualifications: Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles Previous fleet maintenance, diesel mechanic, heavy-duty vehicle repair experience, or technical/trade school training preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and ability to pass annual PM certification requirements Ability to safely perform all essential job duties Must provide a complete set of hand tools Strong understanding of diesel engines, vehicle electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components and fleet equipment repair Proficiency with maintenance tools, repair equipment, and diagnostic processes Basic computer and electronic systems knowledge About Spark Talent Acquisition: Spark Talent Acquisition is a Michigan-headquartered recruiting and staffing company that connects great talent with great employers.
