Location: Benton School District - Pre-K/ABC classroom

Job Type: Full-Time / Hourly / 9-Month Position

Reports To: Director of Early Childhood Program

Position Overview: The Benton School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Paraprofessional to join our Pre-K team. This position supports instruction and child supervision in a Better Beginnings-accredited classroom serving children ages 3-5. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Lead Teacher to foster a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment in alignment with state standards and Benton's commitment to early childhood excellence.

Primary Responsibilities: Assist with the planning and implementation of classroom activities that support growth in all developmental domains. Supervise children at all times and ensure a safe, engaging classroom environment. Reinforce positive behavior strategies and support classroom management routines. Help prepare learning materials, organize the classroom, and support transitions between activities. Assist with meal/snack time, toileting routines, and general hygiene support as needed. Support data collection, observations, and documentation for developmental assessments. Communicate positively with children, families, and staff to support strong school-family relationships. Participate in required professional development and maintain all training per Arkansas licensing and Better Beginnings guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED (required)
