Estate Attorney

Compensation: $95,000 - $125,000 Responsibilities: Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options Consult clients about your plans for distributing their assets Assist with Medicaid planning and long-term care planning Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required At least 1-2 years of working in a law firm on estate planning and probate law issues is necessary Wide range of knowledge regarding real estate-related topics such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association) About Company We are a growing South Florida law firm serving individuals and families in estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, probate, and veterans benefits.
