At Rate Insurance, our Inbound Agents connect with customers who are actively shopping for personal lines insurance through our Direct-to-Consumer channel. You'll work exclusively with warm inbound opportunities, helping clients identify the right coverage solutions while delivering an exceptional customer experience. With dedicated support teams handling non-sales activities, you'll spend more time doing what you do best: advising clients, writing business, and growing your income through uncapped commissions.
What You'll Do:
  • Consult with prospective customers seeking personal lines insurance solutions
  • Quote, recommend, and sell home, auto, umbrella, and other personal insurance products
  • Build trust and long-term relationships through a service-first sales approach
  • Manage the sales process from lead engagement through policy issuance
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and performance goals
  • Stay current on carrier guidelines, product offerings, and state-specific insurance requirements
  • Leverage technology and CRM tools to efficiently manage customer interactions and pipeline activity

What We're Looking For:
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance licenses in 10 or more states
  • Minimum of 2 years of personal lines insurance sales experience
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals and performance metrics
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Expertise in personal lines insurance products and coverage solutions
  • Ability to navigate multiple carrier platforms and technology systems
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or EZLynx preferred
  • Self-motivated and effective in a remote work environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
