Skilled Mason NeededWe're looking for a skilled mason with 10+ years in the trade to build masonry and tile features on our pool and outdoor living projects — retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, fire pits, veneer work, coping, and pool/patio tile you bring:10+ years of masonry and tile experience — block, brick, natural stone, veneer, and tile settingStrong knowledge of mortar mixing, footings, and proper wall/structure construction techniquesSkilled in tile layout, cutting, setting, and grouting for pool coping, waterlines, and patiosAbility to read and execute plans with precise layout and level workExperience building retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and fireplace/fire pit structuresSkilled with masonry and tile tools — wet saws, grinders, trowels, levels, notched trowelsEye for clean lines, tight joints, and finish quality that holds up over timeValid driver's license; reliable transportationAbility to work outdoors in all conditions and lift 50+ lbs regularlyWhat we offer:Competitive pay based on experience and craftsmanshipSteady year-round work on high-end residential outdoor living projectsA crew that values quality masonry and tile workPhysical DemandsThe position requires various physical activities, including prolonged standing, walking, stooping, crawling, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, reaching, grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and handling. Other requirements include talking, hearing, depth perception, manual dexterity, and a wide field of vision. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.Work EnvironmentThe physical demands of this position include being exposed to various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and humidity. You will encounter fluctuating weather patterns and work in both wet and dry environments. This role also involves frequent exposure to high noise levels from equipment and machinery, as well as vibrations from the use of power tools. Additional environmental exposures include: proximity to moving mechanical parts, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment. Potential exposure to electrical hazards, particularly when working near or with electrical systems (e.g., lighting or irrigation systems). Atmospheric conditions, such as dust, pollen, and fumes from machinery, fertilizers, or chemicals, requiring proper safety measures. Risk of electrical shock when using certain power tools or working around electrical systems. Working on or near wet, slippery surfaces, or uneven terrain, which may increase the risk of slips and falls. Bee stings and other bug bites.
