3D Print Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities: Operate and manage daily 3D printing lab activities. Prepare CAD models, set up prints, select materials, and perform post-processing. Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate 3D printers and related equipment. Coordinate and prioritize print requests from engineering teams. Manage printing materials, consumables, equipment, procurement, and shipping. Communicate project status and delivery expectations with internal customers. Support engineering and design teams with rapid prototyping needs.

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma. Hands-on technical aptitude and basic computer skills. Strong organization and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with engineering and design teams.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Mechanical Design, Additive Manufacturing, or related field. Experience operating or maintaining 3D printers. Experience with CAD models and engineering drawings. Knowledge of FDM, SLA, and 3D printing post-processing. Technician experience supporting engineering or manufacturing organizations. Aerospace or gas turbine engine experience is a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills.
