Paralegal

Responsibilities: Conduct thorough legal research and assist with drafting documents related to civil litigation defense, insurance defense, and other legal matters. Manage discovery processes, including organizing and reviewing evidence, and preparing responses. Support attorneys in trial preparation by gathering materials, coordinating witness schedules, and drafting trial briefs. Maintain and update case files using case management software to ensure accurate record-keeping. Analyze insurance coverage issues and prepare reports or summaries for attorney review. Collaborate with attorneys to identify case strategies and ensure efficient workflow. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings. Monitor deadlines and ensure all filings and submissions are completed in a timely manner. Assist in preparing contracts and other legal documents related to employment and construction litigation. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas.
