Role Description:
The Lead Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH. This position oversees day-to-day operations, including scheduling, workflow management, resource allocation, and coordination between writing, editing, and administrative teams. The Lead Operations Manager monitors service quality, tracks operational metrics, and implements process improvements to support efficiency and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, maintaining documentation, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. The role also involves coaching staff, facilitating cross-functional communication, and supporting leadership with planning and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Strong operations management skills, including workflow optimization, resource planning, and process improvement. Experience in team leadership, staff coaching, and performance management in a service-oriented environment. Proficiency with office productivity tools, data tracking, and reporting to inform operational decisions. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in a writing, editing, or professional services organization is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Columbus, OH and reliably maintain full-time availability.
