A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician to join their growing team at one of the Bronx facilities.
About the Opportunity
Setting: Ambulatory clinic
Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+)
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of common medical conditions
  • Manage chronic conditions, monitor patients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to maintain optimal health
  • Educate patients about their health conditions and help them understand their treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Conduct regular physical examinations to assess a patient's overall health and detect early signs of diseases or health issues
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare providers
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: Licensed to practice in the State of New YorkBoard Eligible / Certified Experience in an Outpatient role/setting
