We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and lead quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts within our railcar repair operation. This role is ideal for an experienced quality professional who is passionate about safety, compliance, customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening the site's quality assurance program while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards. You will serve as a key leader in driving quality performance, employee development, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. On any given day, you will: Lead and manage the site's Quality Assurance program to ensure compliance with AAR, FRA, OSHA, EPA, customer, and company requirements. Oversee and develop Quality Control Inspectors while promoting a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement. Coordinate internal and external audits, certifications, recertifications, and regulatory compliance activities. Perform facility inspections, final railcar inspections, and documentation reviews to ensure compliance requirements are met. Lead root cause analyses, corrective action programs, and non-conformance investigations to improve product quality and reduce rework. Maintain employee qualification records, training programs, certifications, equipment calibrations, and compliance documentation. Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Engineering, Human Resources, and Materials teams to support operational excellence. Build strong customer relationships and coordinate responses to customer and regulatory findings. Monitor quality performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives that enhance compliance, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
