This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our photo production processes, with a focus on effective team management and technical expertise. Required Skills & Qualifications 5 years of direct experience in photo and film production. Experience leading a small team. In-depth understanding of lighting and grip. Experience on a film and photo set. Proficiency with basic Client suite, Airtable, and Figma is a plus. Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Experience with cinema cameras like Red Komodo X.Experience with Blue Circle or TrakIt equipment tracking software is a plus. Proficiency in digital equipment and motion equipment, such as digi-carts, monitors, cable management, RED camera, cinema lenses, and camera support.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Assist with equipment set up and changeover in the LA Icon Photo and Film Studio.
Schedule and direct the flow of the editorial floor with 8 bays, ensuring they are built, lit, and metered for shooting.
Work closely with stage hands, grips, gaffers, camera operators, and set up staff.
Participate in meetings to plan production and future planning.
Lead a shift of 3 to 4 team members, overseeing daily inventory tracking and supporting ecommerce, editorial, and motion sets.
Read, follow, and measure out detailed lighting diagrams for set flips.
Adapt to lighting changes, set flips, and shoot schedule changes.
