Patent Agent

Location: 100% Remote – open to all U.S. time zones

Salary: $120,000–$150,000+, depending on experience

Experience: 2–6 years of patent prosecution experience

Responsibilities: Draft patent applications for filing with the USPTOProsecute U.S. patent applications and conduct Examiner interviews Work directly with inventors and attorneys to develop and refine claim strategies Independently manage a patent prosecution docket Support clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies Assist with additional patent counseling matters, including freedom-to-operate analyses, patent landscapes, due diligence, and noninfringement/invalidity opinions Qualifications2–6 years of patent prosecution experienceUSPTO registration Relevant technical or scientific degree Strong academic background; 3.0+ undergraduate GPA preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines Strong client-service skills and a collaborative approach Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
