OF COUNSEL ATTORNEY – LITIGATION PRODUCTS LIABILITY/DAUBERT/RULE 702 Multiple Locations Available – full list at the bottom of this description. HYBRIDAtop-10 AmLawfirm is seeking a talented Of Counsel Attorneywith extensive experience inDaubert and Rule 702 motions practice, particularly in thepharmaceutical and medical device space. This is a high-impact opportunity for an exceptional litigator to take a central role in complex product liability matters at a top-tier national firm.
Candidate Profile:
  • JDfrom atop-tier law schoolwith anexcellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admissionin the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
  • New York-barred candidatespreferred8+ yearsof substantivelitigation experience, includingproducts liabilitymatters
  • Extensive experiencewriting briefs, specifically
  • Rule 702and
  • DaubertmattersExpertise inmanaging litigation strategyandsupervising junior associates
  • Relevant experience at anAmLaw 100 firmisstrongly preferred
  • Background inpharmaceutical and/or medical device industrylitigationisadvantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex discovery, communicate effectively with clients and co-counsel, and contribute to fact development and depositions
  • Soft Skills: Excellent writing and strategic thinking skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and overseecomplex legal memoranda , briefs , motions, and discovery responses
  • Develop and execute strategyfor
  • Daubert / Rule 702 challengesand other critical motion practice
  • Engage with clients and experts tomanage factual developmentandexpert testimony
  • Supervise and mentor associatesthroughout all stages of litigation
  • Participate indepositions , client strategy sessions, and overallcase management
