Location: Omaha, NE
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1st Shift)
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Additional Information: Break Policy: Unpaid 30-minute break/lunch daily.
Role Description:
As a Fraud & Dispute Associate, you will provide critical support to clients' card portfolio chargeback programs, covering debit, credit, and prepaid platforms. You will investigate claims, compare multiple avenues of processing disputes and chargebacks, and decide on the best path to resolution. This position is essential to ensuring we provide world-class service to our clients and their customers.
Responsibilities:
Investigation & Processing: Investigate, evaluate, and process disputes/chargebacks, contacting cardholders directly to investigate possible fraud. Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of compliance and verification procedures to effectively process cardholder information while staying current on network regulatory requirements and client guidelines. Fraud Monitoring: Monitor systems to detect possible fraudulent behavior related to card usage and deliver a great customer experience via inbound and outbound calls with clients and cardholders. Case Management: Track and take action on cases within strict timeframes based on regulatory guidelines and client requirements. Data Integrity: Enter data into client-specific systems to accurately record and track cardholder, card, transaction, and case information. Stakeholder Communication: Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding chargeback requirements, system processing, dispute lifecycles, and claim status.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.0-2 years of experience in financial services, customer service, or equivalent military experience. Intermediate computer skills (minimum 40 WPM).
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of Regulation E and Regulation Z.Familiarity with Visa and/or Mastercard operating regulations. Experience with Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, One Drive, Share Point).Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
