To support Oregon's Medicaid clients, the full-time salaried Oregon Licensed Health Insurance Analyst will ensure accurate entry of third-party insurance information, assist in recovering incorrect payments, and help clients enroll in appropriate Managed Care plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities: Coordinate daily workflow and support team operations, contributing to process improvement initiatives Independently review and analyze Third Party Resource referrals for completeness and eligibility Gather and verify insurance information, updating records in the Medicaid Management Information System
Required qualifications: Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience, or an associate degree in general office occupations with one year of relevant experience Experience coordinating and understanding health insurance benefits Proficiency in navigating medical billing systems and related computer-based tools Demonstrated ability to accurately research, enter, and update alphanumeric data Exceptional attention to detail when processing and verifying information
