Compensation & Schedule
Contract Pay Rate:
$46/hr (1099)
Target Full-Time Salary Upon Conversion: $68,000-$85,000 Annually
Benefits: Full Benefits Package Upon W2 Conversion
Vehicle Program:
Company vehicle provided after transition to W2. Fuel card or mileage reimbursement available upon start.
Pay Frequency: Weekly during contract period
Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift | Approximately 40 Hours/Week
Additional Schedule Details:
Occasional night and weekend work may be required. Position consists of approximately 75% field work and 25% office responsibilities.

The Safety Coordinator will work directly with field leadership and project teams supporting major hospitals, research facilities, commercial developments, and educational construction projects while gaining exposure to a wide variety of heavy civil, utility, and site development operations.
This position offers significant career growth potential, including a path toward future safety leadership roles within the organization.
Required Qualifications: OSHA 30 Construction Certification
Minimum 3+ years of safety experience OR recent Safety Degree graduate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently throughout multiple project locations
Willingness to spend the majority of time in the field
Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 510 Certification
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
Trenching & Excavation Experience
Underground Utility Construction Experience
Heavy Equipment Safety Experience
Confined Space Experience
Fall Protection Experience
Hot Work Permitting Experience
Experience conducting incident investigations, JHAs, inspections, and audits
What You'll Be Doing: Conduct routine jobsite inspections and safety audits
Monitor project compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Support implementation of site safety controls and PPE programs
Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions
Conduct field observations and safety assessments
Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
Review jobsite safety performance and documentation
Support toolbox talks and safety communications
Assist project teams with JHAs and hazard assessments
Work closely with supervisors, foremen, and project leadership
Promote a proactive safety culture throughout all assigned projects
Travel between jobsites in the Cincinnati and Dayton markets
