C++ Developer (New York City Metropolitan Area)

Key Responsibilities/Experience: Design, develop, and maintain low-latency market data capture, storage and distribution infrastructure, with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Integrate, support, and enhance connectivity to third-party market data vendors, data-distribution platforms, and electronic trading venues. Strong computer science, OS fundamentals and knowledge of algorithms, operating systems, and inter-process communication (IPC). Relevant areas include memory-mapped files, networking, TCP/IP stack, unicast/multicast protocols. Profile, benchmark, test and optimize systems for low latency, high throughput, and predictable performance. Build highly available and resilient trading and market data ingestion and distribution systems. Participate in on-call support rotations and contribute to incident investigation and continuous operational improvement.
