The Allergy department at Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its busy, well-respected practice at the Louisville location. JOB SUMMARY:
BMC is currently seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Allergy team. This position is a Full Time benefit eligible. Performs a comprehensive health assessment, including health history, physical exams, preventive screening, and identifies medical health risks and needs. Formulates the appropriate physical diagnosis based on clinical evaluation. Performs, orders and/or interprets diagnostic studies within the scope of practice and clinical area of practice at the Boulder Medical Center, P.C.Performs advanced technical procedures within the scope of clinical practice. Plans and implements therapeutic regimens that include medical management strategies, including prescription of medications. Includes obtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per State Board Medical Examiner regulations. Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with BMC physicians and other health care providers as appropriate. Assures patient and family teaching is adequate to manage the illness or wellness plan at home. Join our team today!
