FISH Food Bank Volunteer Opportunity: Grocery Guide

FISH Food Bank is a client-centered, community-supported hunger resource serving Kittitas County, Washington with a food pantry, free senior and community meals, summer meals for kids, and more. We're looking for grocery guides to help clients navigate our client-choice food pantry and learn what's available during their visit. We're looking for friendly grocery guides to help clients feel comfortable as they shop in our client-choice pantry and learn what items are available during their visit. As a grocery guide, you'll walk alongside clients during food distribution, help answer questions, and contribute to a respectful, welcoming experience for everyone. This is an active role that involves moving around for about 2.5 hours, and Spanish language skills are a plus. Shift timesMonday–Thursday: 1:15 PM–4:00 PM Friday: 8:45 AM–11:30 AM 2nd Saturday: 8:45 AM–11:30 AM DutiesHelp customers through the pantry during food distribution. Be knowledgeable about pantry offerings and help clients know what they can take. Stay until the end of the shift, even if there are no customers.
