Chief of Staff – Investor Relations | AssociateA leading global hedge fund is seeking an Associate to join its Investor Relations team in a Chief of Staff capacity. The role will work closely with senior members of the IR function, supporting the team across strategic initiatives, fundraising activity, investor coverage and broader business management. The successful candidate will act as a key point of coordination across Investor Relations, senior management and internal stakeholders, helping to drive strategic priorities and ensure the effective execution of key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Support the Head of Investor Relations and senior members of the team on strategic and business management initiatives. Monitor and analyse fundraising activity, investor pipelines, AUM flows and relationship coverage. Prepare reporting, presentations and briefing materials for senior management and internal stakeholders. Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows and key fundraising initiatives. Work closely with Investment, Product, Marketing, Operations, Legal and Compliance teams to support investor-related projects. Assist with the preparation of materials for investor meetings, internal meetings and senior leadership discussions. Track key actions, priorities and deliverables across the IR team. Support strategic projects including new product launches, market expansion, investor segmentation and process improvements. Provide analysis and insights to help senior leadership assess fundraising opportunities and investor activity. Help improve systems, processes and reporting across the Investor Relations function.
Candidate Profile: 3–6 years of relevant experience within Investor Relations, Asset Management, Hedge Funds, Investment Banking, Consulting or a similar financial services environment. Strong understanding of institutional investors and the asset management or hedge fund industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality materials for senior stakeholders. Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel and Power Point skills. Commercially minded with the ability to understand complex investment strategies and communicate them effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage projects from inception through to completion.
