Senior Software Test Engineer

Role Overview: We are seeking a well-rounded and highly motivated Senior Software Test Engineer to drive quality across enterprise-scale, cross-functional integration programs. This role requires a balanced combination of hands-on automation expertise, GenAI-driven testing innovation, solution-oriented delivery ownership, and the ability to identify, lead, and implement process improvements across testing activities. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable driving technical excellence, improving quality engineering practices, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality outcomes at scale.

Key Responsibilities: Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across testing processes, workflows, and quality engineering practices, and drive corrective actions to enhance delivery effectiveness and quality outcomes. Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously evaluate and optimize quality engineering processes, metrics, governance, and automation adoption. Perform end-to-end integration testing and provide quality engineering support during Go-Live and post-deployment validation. Conduct basic database testing, including data validation, query execution, and backend verification. Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and/or Playwright for UI, API, and end-to-end validation Drive automation-first approach across functional, regression, integration, and release testing cycles Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops Leverage GenAI and AI Agents to enhance test design, optimize coverage, automate test generation, and improve defect detection Collaborate with product, engineering, Dev Ops, and business stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded across the lifecycle Identify risks proactively and provide solution-oriented mitigation strategies aligned with delivery timelines Own automation metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and coverage Ensure high-quality releases through strong validation practices, traceability, and governance Travel to the designated lab, as required, to perform hands-on hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation (UI, API, integration) and functional testing. 1+ year of experience in GenAI / AI Agents for testing, productivity, or engineering use cases Strong expertise in Selenium and/or Playwright automation frameworks Programming languages such as Java, Python, or Java Script API testing tools (Rest Assured, Postman, etc.) Solid understanding of: Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and SDLC Agile and Dev Ops practices CI/CD tools and pipelines Experience with GenAI-based test optimization, self-healing scripts, or AI-assisted validation Exposure to microservices, cloud (AWS/Clienture), and distributed architectures Knowledge of test management tools (ADO, Jira, Zephyr)
