Boiler Operator Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, kilns, and related systems to ensure efficient plant operations Perform routine inspections of boiler equipment, pumps, valves, motors, and piping systems Monitor gauges, controls, and instrumentation to ensure systems are operating within established parameters Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on boiler and utility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and communicate concerns promptly Maintain accurate operational logs and maintenance records Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures and environmental regulations Assist with fuel handling and material movement as needed Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime Maintain housekeeping standards in boiler and utility areas

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Previous boiler operation, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing experience preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read gauges, meters, and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime or weekends as needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments with varying temperatures
