Private Credit Vice President

Graycliff is growing and is looking to hire a Vice President with 4+ years of experience in lower middle market credit investing. The new hire will be based in our NYC headquarters with an immediate start date. Graycliff Credit manages ~$800 million of assets and committed capital and is investing out of its fifth fund, raised in 2026. The fund provides unitranche, second lien, mezzanine, preferred equity and equity co-invests to private equity-sponsored, independent sponsor-backed, and non-sponsored companies. We typically focus on businesses with $3 to $15 million of EBITDA and invest across industries. This is a great opportunity to join a lean team on a growing platform. The Vice President will play a central role in executing Graycliff’s investments and will have meaningful responsibility from day one

About Graycliff Partners: Graycliff was formed in 2011 by the former management team of HSBC’s U.S. private equity unit and now manages a family of funds providing debt and equity capital to lower middle market companies. We are currently investing out of three funds and have over $1.7 billion in committed capital. We are a team of 20 investment professionals with the majority of team members based out of our NYC headquarters. In accordance with New York State pay transparency laws, base salary for this position is estimated to be in the range of $150,000 to $200,000 and total annual compensation, inclusive of a discretionary bonus, is estimated to be $350,000 to $500,000. Note that salary / compensation may fall outside these parameters and will be dependent on experience level, among other qualifications.
