About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to serve as Site Medical Director for a high-acuity Emergency Department in the Hudson Valley region of New York. This is an excellent leadership opportunity for a physician who wants to make a meaningful impact on clinical excellence, department strategy, quality improvement, physician/APP collaboration, and operational processes while maintaining a limited clinical schedule. ⏰ Schedule 48–72 clinical hours per month Reduced clinical requirement allows the Medical Director to focus on: Department strategy Process improvement Quality metrics Clinical excellence Team development Emergency Department Approximately 55,000 annual patient visits 15–20% pediatric volume 23 ED beds 8 Fast Track beds Level III Trauma Center 53 hours of daily physician coverage 37 hours of APP coverage EPIC EMR Current PPH: approximately 2.3, with a planned reduction to approximately 2.0 with the new staffing model Why Consider This Opportunity?
