Maintenance Worker - Work Today, Paid Tomorrow

Overview: Jobletics by Compunnel is seeking dependable and experienced Maintenance Workers for Oriana House facilities. This position is responsible for general building maintenance and repairs, with a strong emphasis on carpentry. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and general facility repairs, and can work independently while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities: Repair and maintain floors, walls, doors, drywall, and other building structures. Build stud walls, install drywall, and perform basic framing and carpentry work. Perform basic cabinetry, countertop installation, and repair projects. Handle general maintenance requests, building repairs, and minor renovations. Inspect facilities, identify maintenance issues, and address safety concerns. Communicate with facility staff and complete assigned work orders promptly. Occasionally assist with emergency maintenance, snow removal, and vendor coordination. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Experience & Requirements: Hands-on carpentry and general building maintenance experience required. Skilled in framing, drywall installation, flooring, door repairs, and installation. Basic knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, and general facility repairs. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with facility staff. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in halfway houses or residential facilities, with awareness of security and safety procedures. Ability to lift, carry materials, and perform physical maintenance tasks as required.
