The position is part of a team of technical records professionals that look at the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of all aircraft, engine, and component documentation. The role requires strong subject-matter expertise in aviation records, a detailed understanding of FAA and EASA regulatory standards, and the ability to work cross-functionally across operations, quality, commercial, and asset management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all technical documentation complies with applicable aviation authority regulations and internal procedures through regular audits and reviews. Review and validate records packages and marketing materials supporting the sale or lease of engines, modules, and components. Coordinate the preparation and delivery of complete records packages for asset transitions, including sales and leases. Identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate documentation and actively manage resolution plans with internal teams and external partners. Act as a key interface with airlines, lessors, MROs, OEMs, and regulatory authorities to address records-related queries and inspections. Ensure full back-to-birth traceability where required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Strong working knowledge of back-to-birth traceability requirements for LLPs and other critical components. Solid understanding of MRO and aftermarket documentation standards Experience within airline, MRO, leasing, or engine aftermarket environments is highly advantageous. In-depth knowledge of FAA and EASA regulations, maintenance documentation, and quality systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office and aviation records or ERP systems. Highly organised with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Ability to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale.
