Patent Agent - High Tech

Duties: Review invention disclosure documents and conduct invention disclosure meetings. Conduct prior searches, review references, and analyze patentability. Draft patent applications. Review USPTO office actions, formulate response strategies, conduct examiner interviews, and draft and file responses. Manage U.S. and foreign dockets. Analyze patents in connection with due diligence and/or freedom to operate analyses.

Requirements: USPTO admission is required. At least one year of patent prosecution experience in technologies such as hardware and devices, software, database technology, artificial intelligence, wireless, and image and/or signal processing. Prior work experience in a law firm is strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of professionalism in engaging with demanding clients. Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities. Highly organized with extreme attention to detail. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings. EducationBackground Background in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and/or chemical engineering.

Certifications: USPTO admission. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in patent drafting and prosecution. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
