Senior Asset Manager

The Opportunity: Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Asset Management, this is a highly visible role offering significant exposure to senior leadership, with an exceptional balance of mentorship, strategic responsibility, and autonomy. The Senior Manager will oversee a portfolio of approximately 20 multifamily assets totaling 4,000 units across the Southern United States. The individual will play a key role in maximizing the financial and operational performance of the portfolio through the development and execution of short- and long-term asset business plans. The role provides broad exposure across the organization and the opportunity to work closely with Property Management, Leasing, Acquisitions & Dispositions, Development, and Joint Venture Partners.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans designed to maximize asset value and investment returns. Analyze property and portfolio performance, identifying opportunities to enhance operational and financial results. Partner with property management and leasing teams to establish and achieve performance objectives. Evaluate capital improvement initiatives, investment opportunities, and strategic recommendations. Monitor budgets, forecasts, operating performance, and key property metrics. Support acquisition and disposition activities, including underwriting, due diligence, and investment analysis. Prepare and present thoughtful, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and investment partners. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute portfolio strategies and achieve business objectives.

The Ideal Candidate: 7+ years of progressive real estate experience, preferably including multifamily and/or asset management. Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred but not required. Prior exposure to real estate acquisitions strongly preferred. Exceptional analytical and quantitative capabilities. Strong financial and investment acumen with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the executive presence to present strategies and recommendations to senior leadership. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing assignments, and maintain ownership of complex projects. Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions. High level of professionalism, judgment, initiative, and attention to detail.
