Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Position Overview: An Oncology Locum opportunity is available in Findlay, Ohio, due to a full-time physician resignation. This position provides a mix of outpatient oncology care and inpatient call coverage within a collaborative community oncology and hematology practice. The organization is open to both locum tenens providers and candidates interested in a potential locum-to-permanent opportunity. Coverage Details Preferred coverage of 2 to 4 weeks on-site each monthAt least 1:4 call and inpatient rounding coverage requiredCoverage needed beginning November 2026 through at least April 2026 Outpatient clinic schedule of 4 to 5 days per weekWeek of call runs Friday at 8:00 a.m. through the following Friday at 8:00 a.m. Weekend coverage required when participating in the 1:4 call rotationOn-site hospital rounding required during call weekends Patient Population Average daily patient volume: 15 to 20 patientsNo pediatric patientsNew and follow-up oncology patientsBenign hematology patients Clinical Requirements Specialty Experience General community medical oncologyHematology experience Procedures No procedures required Practice Support The provider will be supported by: Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Medical AssistantChemotherapy-certified RN staff in the infusion clinic Additional Responsibilities Required attendance at tumor board during on-site working weeksPosition is not a sole-provider role Opportunity Type Locum TenensPotential Locum-to-Permanent Opportunity
