FULLY REMOTEOur client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Property Coverage Attorneyto join its growing Insurance Coverage practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated property insurance matters for high-profile clients, handling complex coverage analysis, litigation, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and brings exceptional research, writing, and analytical capabilities to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from atop-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing 3-8 years of substantive experiencein insurance coverage matters
- Experience handlingproperty insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation
- Strong background inlegal research, writing, and drafting, with demonstrated analytical rigor
- Experience preparingcoverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials
- Ability to managetime-sensitive and highly confidential matterswith professionalism and discretion
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability toprioritize and manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Prior litigation experience, includingdepositions, hearings, and mediations, preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzeinsurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions, and provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Prepare correspondence and communications for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
- Review and analyze documents in connection with coverage disputes and litigation
- Conduct comprehensivelegal researchusing platforms such as Westlaw
- Draft and respond towritten discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions
- Conduct and defenddepositionsand participate in hearings and mediations
- Advocate for clients in dispute resolution proceedings and support case strategy through all phases of litigation
