Summary: Administer enterprise Linux environments while supporting IBM Enterprise Storage and Veritas NetBackup. Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation using Nessus to maintain security compliance. Execute system patching and package management using YUM repositories. Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet to optimize system performance. Qualifications &Compensation:

Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Years of experience: 3+ years

Total Compensation: $244k+ yearly (tentative)

Job Description: Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems in a production environment. Manage and support enterprise storage solutions to ensure high availability and performance. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup and recovery operations with Veritas NetBackup. Implement and maintain system security configurations, hardening standards, and package updates. Execute vulnerability scans with Nessus and remediate security findings. Monitor system performance, resolve operational issues, and implement proactive enhancements. Create and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet to automate routine administrative processes. Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and compliance.
