Key responsibilities:
Resolve Medicare claims by identifying issues, correcting errors, and ensuring claims are returned to payment status
Analyze Medicare denials to determine accuracy and complete necessary appeals, adjustments, or resubmissions
Maintain detailed documentation and workflow updates within billing systems to support claim progression and audits
Required qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM with accuracy
Experience in a high-volume workload environment with call monitoring or performance metrics preferred
Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
