We're excited to welcome an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join HMC Kidney Associates, a well-established and growing nephrology practice. What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll work closely with physicians and care teams to provide high-quality care to patients with kidney-related conditions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing patient evaluations, including pre-operative histories and physicals
- Educating patients on procedures, treatment plans, and ongoing care
- Managing and monitoring treatment plans within your scope of practice
- Prescribing medications and therapies in collaboration with physicians
- Supporting preventive care, health maintenance, and patient counseling
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborating with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow and coordination
- Participating in ongoing training, education, and quality improvement efforts
What We're Looking For:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current Massachusetts licensureNCCPA certification (for PAs)
- At least 3 years of clinical experience
- Nephrology experience preferred
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
- Comfort working with adult and geriatric patients in a diverse community
