The Machine Operator supports efficient production by handling materials, stocking the drawing line, transporting finished cans, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. This role requires reliable attendance, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Stock the drawing line with empty cans. Transport and deliver full cans to designated departments. Handle materials to maintain a steady production flow. Support team operations and collaborate effectively with coworkers. Follow all safety guidelines and required workplace protocols. Wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots. Keep the work area clean and organized.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting, carrying, and extended standing. Strong attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow all safety protocols. Ability to wear steel-toe boots.
Preferred Qualifications:
Entry-level experience in machine operation. Experience with machine operation or material handling. Knowledge of workplace safety practices. Reliable attendance. Strong teamwork skills. Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience.
